Cores and Threads Explained

• Cores: These are the physical components within the CPU that perform actual processing tasks. Having more cores generally means better performance and the ability to handle more tasks simultaneously.
• Threads: Threads are the smallest sequence of programmed instructions that can be managed independently by a scheduler. With technologies like Hyper-Threading (by Intel) or Simultaneous Multi-Threading each physical core can handle two threads, effectively doubling the number of tasks the CPU can manage at once.

Condition

As shown in the video and pictures, this laptop is in Excellent Reurbished Condition. It is fully functional, with only minor cosmetic imperfections typical of light use:

• Lid : A few minor scuffs / scratches
• Bottom Case: A few minor scuffs / scratches , slight scuffing to the left side edge
• Keyboard: A little shine to some of the keys and the left clicker, all work just fine and have been cleaned  
• Palmrest: Two faint sticker marks to the left and right 
• Screen: The screen has some faint keyboard rub to the upper middle, mostly visible with the screen turned off laid flat and viewed from a side angle detailed in the above product video on a white background very hard to see 

These minor imperfections are cosmetic only and do not affect the laptop’s functionality. Please refer to the pictures and video for a detailed look at its condition.

Preparation, Diagnostic & Cleaning

The internal fans have been cleaned & hoovered then sprayed with compressed air to ensure of a cool quiet running experience as you can see from the good processor temperature reading via the Core Temp App as shown in the product picture . The motherboard is checked for any signs of liquid spills hoovered and sprayed with compressed air to remove any dust or debris. The keyboard has been fully tested hoovered and cleaned with a sanitizer solution using a toothbrush to remove any dirt and grime! All exteriors of the laptop are then cleaned with a sanitizer solution using a microfiber cloth. The screen is cleaned using a non-smear solution and a specialized LCD screen cleaning cloth. All ports are checked and tested as working.

The SSD has been checked using the Crystal Disk application and as you can see in the product picture, it reports Good health and a good temperature. The laptop then has a full diagnostic scan to ensure there are no failings or issues, as you will see in the  video it passed without any issues. It is then left to run for at least 24 hours without been allowed to sleep or hibernate to ensure no issues develop.

Battery

This model has one internal 57Wh battery, Windows has indicated 3:43 after a full charge the laptop has then been left to run on the battery without been allowed to sleep or hibernate or turn the screen off for 1:30 hours after which Windows indicated 1:58 remaining @ 49% capacity. The Battery Info View tool is also used to obtain the readings of the battery health which is 90.9% (may vary) as shown in the last product picture & video . This will vary depending on usage and settings and is an indication only I offer no guarantees on the battery as it is a used consumable item.

All Windows, System & Bios Updates are applied at the time of listing so it’s ready to go!

As you will see the laptop has a tamper evident security seal on the rear of the laptop if this is removed or damaged this may invalidate the warranty and return process
