Description

Lenovo ThinkPad T470s is in excellent working condition. It features a 7th generation i7 2.7Ghz processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a Samsung Solid State Hard Drive with a capacity of 256GB. The 14" IPS screen display offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and the backlit keyboard and smart card reader add convenience.

With a quick boot time of just 21 seconds, this model is a fast and efficient machine. It was previously used as a powerful business class machine, known for its slim and portable design. It is perfect for everyday tasks including web browsing, social media, email, and working with programs such as Excel and PowerPoint.

Additionally, the lid has been enhanced with a new vinyl skin, giving it a great like new appearance.

The BIOS has no password set or restrictions.

Condition

As you can see from the video and pictures the laptop is in Very Good Condition, I have only noticed the following minor cosmetic imperfections and signs of use

• A few minor scuffs to the bottom case
• Slight shine to some of the keys and the palm rest purely cosmetic, all keys work just fine and have been properly cleaned 

Preparation, Diagnostics & Cleaning

The internal fan has been removed cleaned & new thermal paste applied to the heatsink then re-seated and sprayed with compressed air to ensure of a cool quiet running experience as you can see from the good processor temperature reading via the Core Temp App shown in picture 21 above. The motherboard is checked for any signs of liquid spills and sprayed with compressed air to remove any dust or debris. The keyboard has been fully tested and cleaned with a sanitizer solution using a toothbrush to remove any dirt and grime! All exteriors of the laptop are then cleaned with a sanitizer solution using a microfiber cloth. The screen is cleaned using a non-smear solution and a specialized lcd screen cleaning cloth. All ports are checked and tested as working

The SSD is checked using the Crystal Disk Info application and it reports Good health and a good temperature. The laptop then has a full diagnostic scan to ensure there are no failings or issues, as you will see in the below video it passed without any issues. It is then left to run for at least 24 hours (generally 48 hours) without been allowed to sleep or hibernate to ensure no issues develop.

Battery

This model has two Internal batteries , Windows has indicated 3:26 after a full charge the laptop has then been left to run on the battery without been allowed to sleep or hibernate or turn the screen off for 2 hours after which Windows indicated 2:43 remaining @ 52% capacity remaining. The Battery Info View tool is also used to obtain the readings of the battery health which is at 41.1% & 51.7%

This will vary depending on usage and settings no guarantees given on the batteries as they are used consumable items.
