Cores and Threads Explained

• Cores: These are the physical components within the CPU that perform actual processing tasks. Having more cores generally means better performance and the ability to handle more tasks simultaneously.
• Threads: Threads are the smallest sequence of programmed instructions that can be managed independently by a scheduler. With technologies like Hyper-Threading (by Intel) or Simultaneous Multi-Threading each physical core can handle two threads, effectively doubling the number of tasks the CPU can manage at once.

Condition

The laptop is in Excellent Refurbished Condition, as shown in the provided pictures and videos. It is fully functional, with only a few minor cosmetic imperfections typical of general use:

• Lid: A few very minor scuffs marks 
• Bottom Case: A few light scuffs marks 

These imperfections are purely cosmetic and do not affect performance or usability. Please review the pictures and videos for a detailed view of the laptop’s condition

Preparation, Diagnostics & Cleaning

The internal fan has been removed cleaned, hoovered then new thermal paste applied to the heatsink, fan re-seated and sprayed with compressed air to ensure of a cool quiet running experience as you can see from the good processor temperature reading via the Core Temp App. The motherboard is checked for any signs of liquid spills and sprayed with compressed air to remove any dust or debris. The keyboard has been fully tested and cleaned with a sanitizer solution  to remove any dirt and grime! All exteriors of the laptop are then cleaned with a sanitizer solution using a microfiber cloth. The screen is cleaned using a non-smear solution and a specialized LCD screen cleaning cloth. All ports are checked and tested as working.

The SSD has been checked using the Crystal Disk Info application and it reports Good health and a good temperature as you can see. The laptop then has a full diagnostic scan to ensure there are no failings or issues, as you will see in the video it passed without any issues. It is then left to run for at least 24 hours (generally 48 hours) without been allowed to sleep or hibernate to ensure no issues develop.

Battery

This model has 1 x 52.5Wh Internal battery Windows has indicated 10:57 after a full charge, the laptop has then been left to run on the batteries for 1:30 hours after which Windows indicated 11:16 hours remaining @ 90%

The battery also shows good health 88.6% & capacity 

This will vary depending on usage and settings and is an indication only I offer no guarantees on the batteries as they are used consumable items. 

As you will see the laptop has a tamper evident security seal on the rear of the laptop if this is removed or damaged this may invalidate the warranty and return process
